#Origins2016 Roundup From Daniel Our Game Developer

I had a great time at Origins 2016! I have a picture of my Origins loot. A new Airplane to fly and a photo of the Mayday Games employees. I played 4 games for fun. Three games of Wings of Glory with the Aerodrome crowd (group picture below.) One game of Imhotep.
I spent most of my time in our booth teaching people how to play our games. Their excitement and enthusiasm for a game that I worked on is one of the satisfying moments of my job. I spent the time outside of the booth playing and looking at about 50 unpublished game prototypes. I'm looking for new games for Mayday Games to publish in the next year or so. I brought home 5 prototypes to play test and determine if they are a good fit for Mayday Games. We signed 2 new games that I'm excited to develop and get ready for publication! Working with Game Designers and coming up with ideas together to improve their game is my favorite part of my job. I got to see many friends that are Game Designers Adam Wyse, Daryl Andrews, Richard Launius, Charlie Hoopes, Keith Rentz, Isaac Shalev, Ben Pinchback, Matt Riddle, Matt Loomis,Jim Schoch and many others that I forgot to mention. This industry would not exist without the creative talent of the people that design games. I saw many publisher friends Jason Grantz, Jason Alan Kotarski, Sara Erickson, Greg Spence, Uwe Eickert, Chris Kirkman, Michael Coe, Scott Gaeta and met many new friends. You are a second family to me that I see many times a year in different cities. 13466111_10206676805618296_1232145650401126235_n13450980_10206676805898303_7039106689502863375_n13466000_10206676805298288_2753629529619618596_n13442301_10206676805178285_5794658738214924066_n 13466380_10206676806378315_2465977052113647212_n3
